Bird Walk in Blendon Woods

There's a bird in this tree somewhere. I swear.
Actually, you can see the bird if you click on this photo and look at the larger image. It's right in the middle, with a red head. Karen says it's a summer tanager, first year.

I gave up trying to photograph birds and focused on wildflowers instead.

I liked the shape and texture of this tree trunk. No birds present.

Willow spotted this snail on the path.
